Menswear Inspired Looks
12:17:00Comfort is key. A fashion trend that has risen in recent years is the repurposing of traditional men's style into a look that women can wear. These looks have a more masculine feel, but are often very comfortable and powerful to pull together. It shows versatility in style and it is fun to play around with. I personally appreciate how there is not a certain way a man has to dress and a woman has to dress because, with trends like these coming to the forefront, it shows that anyone can dress in any clothes and make it fashionable, chic, and right for their body.

Outfit 1 | Business Casual
This look was inspired by a typical business casual look that you would wear to the office. However, the flowy trousers (Zara) add a more relaxed tone to the look and the emphasis on the belt area also makes the look more masculine. I paired the pants with a button-up top (Dynamite) to complete the professionalism of the look.
Outfit 2 | Smart Casual
This is a common look that I incorporate into my style frequently. I enjoy how posh and put-together it looks, and that in turn, makes me feel that way as well. For this, I used the same white blouse from outfit 1 (Dynamite) and paired a v-neck over top (H&M). I kept the collar of the blouse sticking out and paired the look with a simple wash of jeans.
Outfit 3 | Business Formal
This look was inspired by a men's business attire, with the full button-up, professional trousers and blazer. You can take this look a step further by matching the blazer and trousers for a pantsuit look, but I was using what I had. The shirt buttoned up to the top paired with the tight-fitting pants make for a more masculine look. The trousers, blazer, and blouse are all from H&M.
The final look is a casual and very simple look that can be easily pulled together, but still looks polished. The outfit consists of just a v-neck sweater and mom jeans. The loose-fitting look of the mom jeans give a more masculine appeal to the look, as does the v-neck, but still remains chic and comfortable.
