Hey fashionistas! I hope everyone has a wonderful and joyful Christmas/holiday and a Happy New Year! This video includes fancy and more comfortable outfit ideas for this holiday season and some could also be used for New Years later next week! I hope you all enjoy and get some inspiration from this!
Hey fashionistas! Since it is the end of exam/stress time at work or school, here is a calming activity to do to relax from all the recent craziness. I have been designing clothes ever since I was in the third grade. I used to create pages of designs which was what got me into the fashion industry. Since I am so busy with school and YouTube, I have not been able to design or sketch anymore. I did a few sketches in my sketchbook and I loved designing again. Designing/sketching improves creativity and lowers stress and anxiety because you have the freedom to sketch whatever you want. I recommend this for all the fashionistas because fashion designing is a great activity for all of you who love to put together outfits like me. If not, you can always colour, paint or draw whatever your heart desires to lower stress. I really recommend doing this if you have spend hours studying or working because it relaxes the mind and lets you take a break from all the stress!
I hope this helps and have a lovely winter break for all of those who have started! xx
Hey fashionistas! I finally have another new video up on my channel showing another typical week in my style. Since it is getting colder, this OOTW has more scarves, jeans, sweaters and leggings, but I still tried to keep my outfits as fashionable as possible while still being cozy. These are also my go-to outfits that I have opted towards this month whether I am going out for dinner, school or just spending some time with friends. I hope you all enjoy and get some fashion inspiration from these looks!

Hey fashionistas! Since the holiday season is finally here, I thought it was only fitting to show you some decor ideas for your house, room, etc. I always get very excited for this time of the year so of course I decked out my room and house with Christmas decorations. Starting with the bed, you can add festive pillows or blankets like I did here. I added a red festive blanket and put my white throw blanket on top to give the illusion of snow. Also, putting Christmas lights or any kind of lights above the bed or on the headboard will instantly make the room look more magical and holiday themed. Mine are sphere lights that have a floral design on them and those are from Target. Lastly, in the back, I put a Santa hat and my red and green scarf on my dress form. I recommend that if you have a dress form to dress it up in a cute holiday outfit or if you have a nice hanger then put it on display with a holiday outfit.
Also, it is important to have a Christmas tree somewhere in your room! Since the theme of my room is black/white/pink, I chose this adorable pink tree from Target and decorated it with some silver ornaments and used a string of fake pearls from the craft store to use as a garland to add to the glitz and glam theme of my room. This is a staple decor piece to have for the holidays somewhere in your house!
Next place to decorate is the fireplace mantle! We did this by adding nutcrackers, a little Christmas village, some holiday themed candle holders and adding a main centerpiece. This Noel sign from Pier 1 is a gorgeous statement piece to balance and draw attention to the fireplace. With the lights from this and the lights that go on inside the house of the town buildings (right), this adds a stunning look to the mantle. This is such a great place to decorate as it goes with the Christmas theme so I really recommend decorating your mantle and adding creativity to it!
Lastly, as I have mentioned before, the best simple decor piece to get that holiday feeling is Christmas lights strung with a grass or pine looking garland! We have this mix on our staircase with a big red bow at the bottom. You can really put this anywhere in the house and it will still look amazing. This one shown above is weaved through our banister and it is actually a green garland with the LED lights already in it. I got this from Home Depot but you can get them from any craft or hardware store.
I hope you enjoyed these decor ideas and try them out! xx
Hey fashionistas! Since Halloween is quickly approaching and some of you may not know what to be, here is a makeup tutorial on a Half-Faced Zombie Prom Queen. One of my favourite, inexpensive and easiest ways to dress up for Halloween is to play up with my makeup so of course I decided to go gory with this one! I hope this post helped you and Happy Halloween!
Hey fashionistas! Since back to school is quickly approaching, I decided to do a tutorial on two different makeup looks for back to school. I do not wear this much makeup everyday to school and feel free to either take out some steps or put in some to create a look that you feel comfortable wearing to school. I hope you enjoy this tutorial and it gives you some inspiration for your makeup looks when you go back to school! Have a great school year fashionistas!

Hey fashionistas! Today, I thought I would share my favourite, everyday shoes for you guys! I have always loved booties because they are comfortable, look good with almost every outfit in any season and give me a bit of height. I used to have a pair from Target, but this year I actually got a new pair from Aldo. These are the Lillianne-32 tan, suede booties. I love these ones because they are comfortable and the tan colour of the boots make them easy to wear to any occasion with any outfit. They look good with jeans, tights or even just skirts, shorts or dresses. I feel like they really flatter my legs and complete the outfit. The only downfall to these booties are that they are a little pricy and are suede which means you have to be careful with them in snow or dirt. However, they are really easy to find in other stores in different styles so keep that in mind when looking for a pair. Other than that, these are a staple piece to have in your wardrobe and I really recommend getting a pair of booties.
Hey fashionistas! Since it is summer and I have been really taking time to care for my skin, here are my favorite products I use on almost a daily basis.
Olay Fresh Effects
Dew Over Hydrating Gel Moisturizer and SPF 15 Moisturizer
|
These are my two favorite moisturizers for the summer
because both are cooling to the skin and leave the face moisturized throughout
the day even in dry or humid climates. The Hydrating Gel Moisturizer is cooling
to the face and keeps my skin soft and hydrated for hours throughout the day.
It is a thicker consistency which allows it to hydrate the skin for prolonged
hours. I have been using this moisturizer for a while now and it has never
caused my skin to breakout. I also needed an inexpensive moisturizer with SPF
and this one from Olay Fresh Effects does the job. It has a nice fragrant,
moisturizes the skin throughout the day and protects the skin from sun
exposure.
Clean and Clear
Essentials Deep Cleaning Astringent and Morning Burst Facial Cleanser
|
Clean and Clear is one of my favorite skincare brands to
always go back to when I try new ones. I have been using the astringent for
quite a while now because it just takes off all the dirt that may clog pores at
the end of the day. Especially since it is summer, I do not like to come home
and always wash my face so I usually take my makeup off with a makeup remover
cloth and then apply the astringent all over my face with a cotton ball (and
moisturize after). It takes off any leftover makeup, dirt or oils on the face
that may seep into the pores over night. If you do not have time to wash your
face at night, I definitely recommend using an astringent like this one that
works on many skin types. If you do want to use a face wash, I recommend the
Morning Burst Cleanser because it has exfoliating beads in it that release
vitamins that are healthy and repair the skin. I love this one because it is
great for the skin, has a nice fragrant and it refreshing to use, especially in
the morning. I have sensitive skin and this cleans my skin and does not cause
breakouts.
Clarisonic Mia 2
Exfoliator Brush
|
I
always heard tons of reviews on the Clarisonic both good and bad and I really
wanted to try it for myself. After using it for a while now, I can say that it
is a very good and much needed skincare tool. When I wash my face using my
hands, it does not feel like I have really gotten all the dirt out of my skin
and this exfoliator does that very well. It gets all the dirt out and leaves
the skin feeling soft and cleansed. Since I have more time in summer mornings,
I love to use this brush with the Morning Burst Facial Cleanser from Clean and
Clear. This product is definitely worth the money especially if you are
troubling with acne.
Hope you all enjoyed this post! Have an amazing summer everyone! xx
Hey fashionistas! The weather here has been constantly changing between the summer heat and rainy, cool days so I tried to create an outfit for all the girly girls that need something in between. I hope to post more summer outfits in future!

Hey fashionistas! Last month, I had the incredible opportunity to do makeup for the skaters in Frozen on Ice. I did the makeup looks for two girls who played Anna and Elsa each of the nights. Hanna (above, Elsa) and I have known each other since we were very young and we have been close friends every since so I was so honored when she asked me to do her makeup for the shows. I am so proud of her and all that she has accomplished. We filmed a video a few weeks before the ice show for my channel! Here is the full tutorial on how I did her makeup:

Hey fashionistas! Many of you liked
my last post about what was in my bag so here are some of my essentials that
are usually in my everyday makeup bag.
SmashBox Camera Ready
BB Cream
|
NYX Xtreme Lip Cream in Nude Peach Fuzz |
Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Sin |
Maybelline Lashsentational Mascara |
I have mentioned this product various times on my YouTube
channel or blog because I love it so much. I usually am a sucker for Maybelline
mascaras because they are the best drugstore mascaras in my opinion. This
product elongates the lashes and add volume and the brush curls the lashes. However,
it can be flakey with prolonged wear.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Stick in 002 Bulletproof Beige |
One of my favourite ways to quickly
do an eye shadow look (that looks like I actually had enough time in the
morning) are shadowsticks. I have found many in the past, but this Rimmel one
is amazing. I like it the best because it has a thick diameter which covers
more space at once and it very pigmented. This base also lasts throughout the
day. I use this colour the most because
it is a light, goldy-bronze shade which complements my green eyes. I definitely
recommend this product if you want to wear eye shadow, but never have enough
time.
Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal in 70 Barely Branded |
This is another Maybelline product
I always mention. Maybelline’s Color Tattoo line is my absolute favourite way
to prime my eyes or use as a base. The product stays on all day (can even be
hard to take off at night) and is completely waterproof. It is a good
inexpensive alternative to primers such as the Urban Decay Primer Potion or the
Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer. If you want to wear it just as an eyeshadow
and not as a base, it has great cover payoff no matter the colour. Currently, I
use “Barely Branded” on a daily basis because it is a white, neutral, shimmery
cream shadow, but I also use “Bad to the Bronze” for night looks as it is more bronzy
and sultry.
Chloe Eau de Parfum Roller Ball Perfume |
Recently, I have been into roller
ball perfumes because they are so much easier to carry around and reapply
throughout the day. I found this one at Sephora through recommendation as it is
one of their popular scents and it is absolutely amazing. It has a
sophisticated scent which is also feminine and slightly strong. I find that
this product I can still smell at the end of the day especially when I apply it
to my jaw and neck. The negatives of this product is that it is pricy and is a
pretty strong scent so I do not recommend it for people that are not good with
powerful scents. I hope you enjoyed this review and that it helped you out with your beauty essentials! xx
Hey fashionistas! Here's a peek inside of what is typically in my bag:
- Charming Charlie Sunglasses with a white, rhinestone case
- Some good reading material (currently reading Girl Online by Zoe Sugg (Zoella) - super good!)
- Daily planner in a pink case from Chapters
- Makeup Bag (Lily Pulitzer for Estée Lauder) with a few essentials when I am out (Chloe Roll-On Perfume, Maybelline Lashsensational Mascara (my favorite), L'Oreal True Match Powder, NYX Lip Gloss, Rimmel Shadow Stick, Maybelline BB Cream - more details coming soon!)
- Of course, my phone and headphones (not shown)
The bag is from Forever 21 and I am in love with it as it carries everything I need!
Hope everyone has an amazing weekend!
Hey fashionistas! As tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day, I decided to do a themed OOTD for you all. This was requested by my cousin Darren as he is Irish so I hope that he enjoys this special post! :)
For St. Patrick's Day, I did not want to go all out but I knew I wanted a element of my outfit to be green and for the outfit to incorporate a dress as spring is quickly approaching! For the makeup, I applied a teal eyeliner to my eye makeup to bring some Irish tradition into my makeup look.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to those who celebrate it! Have an amazing day everyone!
Hey fashionistas! So if you didn't know, I launched my first
video on YouTube a few weeks ago!! This week, I posted my everyday makeup
tutorial with a typical outfit that I would wear to school or in my everyday
life. Here is the outfit featured in my video…
Outfit Details
Shirt – American Eagle Outfitters
Sweater – Garage Clothing
Jeans – American Eagle Outfitters
Watch – Fossil
I hope you liked this OOTD! If you can, please check out my YouTube
channel (FashionablyKelli) and subscribe! Have a great day fashionistas!
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 115 Ivory
The other day I went out to Target to find a new foundation.
I decided to go with the new and improved Maybelline Fit Me foundation because
I have heard amazing feedback about it and wanted to give it a try. And I have
to say I absolutely loved the product! It left my skin matte (for the whole 8
hours I was wearing it) but still left my face with that glowing radiance
without looking shiny. It also blended amazingly which I have had trouble with
in the past with my foundations. When I first applied it to my face, it barely
matched my skin so I started to worry. Once I blended it in with my brush it
was the perfect match surprisingly! Maybelline, you did good on this one!
Rimmel Kate Lipstick in 17
|
When I was out, I also wanted to try the Kate lipsticks from
Rimmel as it has been a product I see and hear about everywhere. I didn’t want
to get a bold lipstick so I decided to go with this pinky nude colour. The
colour payoff was amazing and was exactly what I was looking for. The only downfall
I had was that the lipstick is not very moist and you have to moisturize you
lips beforehand or else you will not get the best result out of this lipstick.
Other than that, I loved the product and it is also very affordable if you are
looking for a natural finish lipstick!
This trend is my favorite because you
can still be reserved and trendy with crop tops by adding a beautiful,
form-flattering skirt.
2. Romantic
Boho (Valentino, Vera Wang)
Any
type of bohemian-looking blouses, skirts, dresses with a flowy and creative
vibe.
3. Fringe
(Givenchy, Giambattista Valli)
Pieces with movement to them. This
could be anything from pants to jackets to dresses to tops.
4. Coachella
Inspired (Christian Dior, Chloe)
This trend is bringing the music
festival outfits in style (finally!).
This involves printed chiffon, rock band jackets, lace dresses, baggy trousers
and long vests.
5. Shirtdresses
(Rebecca Minkoff, Alturazza)
These special kinds of dresses have been on the verge of being on trend
for a while and now they finally are! Shirtdresses are a quick way to look
fashionably, but still stay cute and casual.
6. Gingham
(Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren)
This trend has been reoccurring a bunch throughout the decades and it is
here again! This involves the gridlock pattern, mostly seen in country wear, on
dresses, shirts, etc.
7. Denim (Dolce
& Gabbana, Gucci)
Denim is coming back in style this season in a unique way: some beaded,
some laced on dark wash and light wash denim.
8. Big,
beautiful, abstract floral patterns (Miu Miu, Max Mara)
9. Whimsical
trouser Suit (Chanel, Celine)
For the people that work in an office all day, here is the trend you can
incorporate into your outfits by making your typical trouser suit look girly
and floosy.
10. Suede
coats, a-line skirts and boot cut pants (Jason Wu, Derek Lam)
Another professional trend you can
wear to work that also brings in trends from the past!
11. Black and
White Patterns (DKNY, Thakoon)
12. Yellow
(Michael Kors, Rosie Assoulin)
13. One -
Shoulder Tops (Raplph Lauren, Tanya Taylor)
I
absolutely love these kinds of tops because it flatters every girl and looks
very feminine.
14. Bridal
wear – lace (Chloe, Louis Vuitton)
Another trend is actually in the area of bridal wear. Whimsical and lace
are the way to go if you are marrying that special someone this spring.
15. Polo
Shirts (Tory Burch, Alexander Wang)
This trend is another casual one that
is very wearable with so many pieces you may already have in your closet.
16. Flats and
Sneakers (Chanel, Peter Som)
We
are ditching the heels this season and saying hello to flat shoes which have
been everywhere lately for the upcoming season.
I hope you try out these new trends in your spring looks!
Hey fashionistas! As
today is a Friday, I went out to a fancy dinner out so this is what I decided
to wear. I wanted to mainly incorporate the skirt from Forever 21 because I was
super excited when I got it for Christmas. I have been seeing those fluted
skirts everywhere recently plus they are just really chic and trendy so it was
perfect to include in an outfit for a nighttime look.
