Prom Night | Formal Hair & Makeup
10:05:00
Hello loves! Last week, I attended prom and absolutely loved it. More so, I was obsessed with my look for the night so I wanted to share it with you all. This can act as an inspiration for any formal event whether it be your own prom, a formal dance, a wedding, etc. Here are the details:
Dress: Classic Boutique
Clutch: DSW
Rings: Pandora
(necklace, earrings, and tiara were all gifted)
The theme of my look was very whimsical and I focused on silver an blush tones throughout the look. This is perfect for a formal look that is not too dramatic and can be more natural if you need it to be.
Hair
For my hair, I lace braided two front pieces of my hair, leaving some strands loose to frame the face. I then curled my hair using a 3/4-1" curling wand. I gently brushed the curls out and added argan oil to give my hair a healthy glow. Then, I added the tiara by sliding it behind the braids.
Makeup
My makeup look was loosly based on this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zV6xp-eXzQ&t=328s by the lovely Kristin Johns. This was the tutorial I used for my eyes and I used the Too Faced 2018 Special Edition Palette to do so. For the face, I applied my usual foundation and concealer and then applied highlight and the Too Faced blush from the same palette I used for my eyes.
If you want an in-depth tutorial, please let me know!
Have a lovely day xx
