Hey fashionistas! Today I am going to be blogging about all things hair. Firstly, before going into these tips, my hair type is thick and a mix between wavy and curly. These tips have worked for my hair and I get split ends and unhealthy hair really easily since I use heat on my hair a lot for school and work. Also, I wash my hair every 2-3 days and it is important not to wash it everyday because your hair needs to produce oil in order which leads to less dryness in your hair and allowing it to grow faster. Washing your hair everyday strips your scalp and hair of those oils which will cause it to be dry or brittle.
Tip 1 | Less Heat
This is the most obvious tip and I have cut out heat slowly. If you have to straighten or curl your hair, you can always try heatless methods for these that can be found on Pinterest. Another method you can do is preserving your hair for days after you curl or straighten your hair. You do not need to always put heat on your hair everyday. If you curl your hair, you can put your hair into a bun while you sleep and it will keep the curls and volume for the next day or next two days depending on when you wash it next. Besides using heat, you can always try heatless hair styles. Putting your hair in a braid will create waves and texture in your hair so you will not have to curl it. Also, if you have a job and want to look professional, you can put your hair into a bun instead of using heat. Lastly, try to cut out blow drying as much as possible. I never blow dry my hair anymore because air drying for me is much easier. If you must blow dry your hair, remember to put it on a low heat or a cool setting.
Tip 2 | Use a Deep Conditioner or Hair Mask
This tip is super important, especially if you have damaged or dry hair. Hair masks and deep conditioners can give your hair the extra oils and nutrients that it needs to grow properly. I definitely recommend looking up natural hair mask recipes or buying a deep conditioner ( I use the Tresemme Renewal Hair & Scalp Conditioning Mask) for shiny and luxurious locks.
Tip 3 | Hair Oils and Products
In order to get healthy hair, you need to focus on the products you use on your hair. It's best to use all natural hair products or natural oil-based products such as argan oil. I personally use the Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Illuminating Dry Oil Spray since it is easy to spray on instead of getting your hands filled with oil. I also use products for the ends of my hair such as the Pantene BB Cream for Hair and the Pantene Overnight Miracle Cream.
Tip 4 | Regular Trims
This one is a little obvious, but sometimes needs to be clarified. You do not need to waste money on trims every month or so. You only need to get trims when you have a lot of split ends and you notice the ends of your hair are dying and brittle. Hair typically does not grow when you have many split ends because although hair does grow from the scalp, when it reaches the ends, it breaks off due to brittle ends. I would say get your hair trimmed at least two-four times a year.
Tip 5 | Combing Your Hair Correctly
We comb/brush our hair everyday, but some people are not doing this correctly to maximize hair growth and health. When wet, you should comb your hair (NOT brush) and comb going from the bottom up as this will get knots out without pulling on or breaking your hair at one of its most fragile states. When brushing your hair, you do not need to yank at your hair when there is a knot. You should be gentle and if there is a knot, take the hair in your palm, squeeze just above the knot with your hands, and gently brush.
Tip 6 | Hair Vitamins
The last tip is to consume hair vitamins. The best vitamins for hair growth is Vitamin B3, Vitamin B7, and Vitamin C. This will really help hair growth from within your body and I have noticed a large difference when I use hair vitamins. Personally, I take Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin, and Nails vitamins which contain Biotin (vitamin B7), Vitamin C and E.
I hope these tips helped you out if you're struggling with growing out your hair or poor hair health! xx Kelli

Hey lovelies! I hope you are all having a great school year so far. Finding the right outfit in the morning can be tricky and time consuming so here are three outfit ideas you can use as inspiration to help make you look put together even if you slept in through one too many alarms. I hope this helps! xx
Hey lovelies! Today, it was a little bit chilly which immediately put me into a fall mood. Since autumn is my favourite season and I am in love with fall fashion, I decided to put together an outfit that is not too warm to wear in the heat, but still includes fall colours and trends. I have noticed that white lace, collars and overall just older trends are starting to come back in style again, especially for the autumn season. I put together this classic-looking, lace dress with this red, over sized sweater so the outfit will still be casual even with the dress. Both the dress and the sweater are from Forever 21 and I would pair this look with some booties and knee high socks.
I hope you all enjoyed this post and have a great day! xx
Hey lovelies! I recently posted a tutorial on my YouTube channel of my current everyday makeup that I wear to work and will wear to school. I hope that this gives you all some inspiration and I hope you enjoy!
Hey lovelies! As part of my favourites series on this blog, I have decided to show you my current favourite perfumes/scents. I decided to add two luxury brand products and two more affordable brand products.
The first perfume is Ari by Ariana Grande. First of all, the packaging is incredibly glamorous and girly so it immediately drew in my attention at the store. The scent itself is just as girly as the bottle. The scent is described as including fruity scents, musks, woods, and marshmallow. It is a quite a light fragrant and the scent is not too overpowering which I enjoy. Overall, I find it to be very complementing and a sweet and luxurious scent.
The next scent is from Victoria's Secret and it is the Eau So Sexy Fragrance Mist. This fragrance is mixed with florals and fruits and to me, smells a lot like peonies. Again, it is a lighter scent that is fresh and complementing to many other lotions/scents. It can easily be taken from a day to a night fragrance. It is also another sweet scent and overall, it is a universal fragrance that is an essential to me.
The third fragrance I have is another one by Victoria's Secret and it is the PINK Wild & Breezy Body Mist. This scent is a little stronger and can also be used as a day or night scent. Personally, I use it more for a night scent as it is more prominent. However, it is still a fresh scent. It contains passion flower and red guava. It is not as much of a sweet scent as the other two fragrances, but still just as girly and complementing.
The last favourite scent of mine for this summer is the Flowerbomb perfume by Viktor & Rolf. This fragrance is a floral scent that is quite strong, but again can be versatile enough to be used for day or night. It contains centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, sambac jasmine, patchouli, and ballerina freesia. I would definitely recommend this perfume to people who enjoy floral and mature scents.
I hope you all enjoyed this post and that is gives you some fragrance recommendations! xx
