How to Make ANY Outfit Look Stylish | Styling Essentials

Do you ever have those mornings where you spend an hour trying to get dressed because you don't like your outfit? Welcome to my life. Although, styling outfits has always been enjoyable for me, but not always to others. There are simple pieces in your wardrobe that can pull together your look and make any outfit, no matter how casual, look stylish.
Your Wardrobe Style Kit
1. Black Bag
No matter the outfit, a simple black bag, whether that be a purse, tote, or backpack, always matches any look while staying chic and classy.
2. Silk Scarf
A universal piece that is an essential styling accessory. These small silk scarves can be purchased almost anywhere (great price at Zara) and they can be tied obviously around your neck but also around the waist of your jeans as a belt or tied onto your purse or even in your hair. They are very classy and make any outfit look more posh and high fashion.
3. Black Shoes
Trust me, you do not need to buy expensive shoes to look fashionable. A black pair of shoes that are brandless but still good quality look stylish and pull together any look. For example, I got over the knee heeled boots (a classic trend going around) for $30 at Forever 21 on Black Friday and they pull any outfit together nicely and make it look like I have got my act together (but that really is still debatable).
4. A Staple Belt
If you look on any style Instagram account, you will see the overwhelming addition of the statement Gucci belt to any outfit. Belts tie together the transition between your top piece and bottom piece so having a statement belt shows this transition better and makes the outfit flow together. There are so many dupes to the Gucci one which you can find at Forever 21 or H&M.
5. Neutral Colored Pieces

Fashion is forever changing but one thing that remains stylish are neutral colours. I find neutral colours flatter many body types and you don't have to worry about whipping out some bold patterns just to be fashionable. Keeping a chic and simple wardrobe or even contrasting a statement piece with neutral coloured clothing item will make you look like you know what you are doing with fashion.
6. Turtleneck
I don't know what it is about turtlenecks that make any outfit look chic and professional. They flatter so many different people and make anyone's hair pop. They are super warm which is a plus and can be worn with any bottoms: trousers, jeans, skirts, you name it!

I love the black lace trim at the hem of the skirt from Dynamite in the Monday OOTD. It looks nice styled with the roll-neck sweater. I love the Forever 21 blouse you styled in your classy Tuesday OOTD. You look fabulous rocking the cable-knit H+M sweater dress in the Wednesday OOTD. I also really love your Thursday OOTD featuring the H+M miniskirt, The black top and pretty Zara scarf. The floral print Dynamite dress you wore for your Friday OOTD is beautiful! It looks like it must feel wonderful wearing it.
